You see them all over the internet, promises of riches and wealth, minimal work required, our system does it all for you….I know you have seen them. What THEY should saying is, only 5% of our members are succeeding in building financial freedom, but we still need the 95% to fund our life style. I find it amusing that someone who has not experience in building teams, leveraging world wide resources and was broke three years ago is now going to make everyone around them rich….It is not going to happen.

The failure rate in most programs stems from their inadequate training, in most cases they are not using cutting edge technology, nor are they teaching wealth building techniques. Instead they are focusing on getting sales and that is only on small part of the overall picture. Do yourself a favor and commit to finding someone to show you the way.

The only way to fail is to quit trying. Many of our inventions that have change our lives forever had prototypes that did not work out. This did not mean they were failures. Having said this, do not be afraid to try new things. Having said that, it only makes great sense not to repeat others failures. This will reduce your costs to success and great speed up the process.

Home based business can reduce your tax burden, but hobbies do not. If you do not have a good tax accountant, find one immediately. If you have a good book keeper, get one. You must have a team to assist you in your journey. It may sound complicated but it is a step by step progression. Everything falls into place just like a puzzle.

A financial planner will be able to show you what your retirement picture is going to look like. If you do not have multiple streams of income set up an coming in past your retirement years, then you are doing something wrong. Take the action to find your system and make it happen.

If you want to be successful, you must know your income verses expenses each day. Being in business means that you are on top of your finances. If you are using a sheet of paper or excel file, you are wasting valuable time. The system you choose needs to show you how to do this automatically. Those systems are out there, use them. If you mentor does not show you these systems, get rid of your mentor.

I have spent hundreds of hours searching on the internet for a system that teaches people how to effectively track income Vs expenses, how to earn more money with multiple streams of income and one that teaches the fundamentals of online marketing and I have never found one. It is not enough to make money, you must be able to manage money and get your money working hard for you as well.

If your mentor, coach or up line does not have a system that assists you in creating a Wealth Building Machine, then RUN AWAY, DROP THEM IMMEDIATELY. Your mentor needs to be a Global Mentor. He needs to be able to get you help in managing your finances, help in building your Money Team, training you to lead your teams, teach you the latest internet techniques and develop software from the collect team’s master minding. If they currently do not do this…get a new mentor and make them Global.

I find it amusing that the Internet Experts tell you to go to Elance.com or many others and your outsourcing problems are over. They will also tell you that this is your key to unlimited wealth. On the surface this is a partially true statement but here is what they are not telling you: These website although are very helpful, if you do not know what you are doing, you can spend a great deal of money and still not have your you were wanting. Have you ever developed an idea and passed it on to a friend to find out that they really did not understand what you were saying? Now do that with someone who is on the internet and English is there second language. In order to use these sites effectively, you need to be trained and none of these Gurus will do that. Too much competition if they do.

Building Financial Freedom needs to start for you TODAY. Procrastination only takes money out of your pocket and extends your retirement date. Why retire when you are old…how much fun is that? NONE. Make the choice to be free and take action.

Corporate Executives are entering the Home Based Business World and changing the game.  No longer will you see the internet is covered with people that have made millions and only a couple of years earlier they were broke.  Here is the dirty little secret they wont tell you.  They are making a lot of money but their system is not supporting high percentages of successful followers.  We are seeing failure rates as high a 97% in some organizations.  If you are in one of these organizations, 97% failure rate is not a business, it is a scam.  It will be a good change.

Any home based business will need to provide training resources.  These resources’ goal should be to better training the team to raise success rates.  Live training events should be held as optional training methods.  This way your serious members can come in and take advantage of advanced training and you can build them into leaders.  Accelerating your team’s success has to be the number 1 goal.

You need to develop your ATM:  Attitude, Time and Money.  Your attitude towards your new business venture will drive how much success you will see.  The time (focused time) you dedicate to your business will also play into how successful you are.  Your Attitude + Time will equal how much money you make in any business venture.  How are you developing your ATM?

The system approach usually is developed to put money into an already successful person’s pocket. That system does not want to take the time to help their team, but instead can see more money being made by creating a system and charging you for it. Sorry to rain on your parade but if you really what to change your life you need to find a mentor that will teach you how to go global. The earth is a small place and for those you know how to penetrate global markets, the money is real nice. The bad news is that out of all the mentors out there less than 1% have these skills. I think you can see by now, that I will be their least favorite person for calling them out on their dirty little secrets. I have heard far too many times that this is business and I will not build their business for them. Now I agree with not building it for them, but shouldn’t you be vested in their success? Shouldn’t you strive to provide more to your team?

There are many methods to focus your self for success. My favorite is to make a list of your biggest time wasters These are the things in your life that do not make you money and you do because there is nothing else to do. Yes TV is the big one. Put in it on the list of things to stop doing until you have reached Financial Freedom. Then make a list of 15 to 20 items that you will do when you reach your Wealth Building goals. This second list will be the list the that keeps you focused. Make sure to put a date on each item and hold yourself accountable.

Now you need to find your Wealth Building opportunity. A good program will have multiple tiers for you to make money. This allows you to maximize your money making opportunities. Here a few to stay away from: Real Estate - too difficult for the beginner, Network Marketing that sells non-Pharmaceutical Grade vitamins…this is a disaster waiting to happen, Anything that says their system will do all the work for you…RUN AWAY, selling software in a network marketing mode….software is substandard at best…flash in the pan…very short term, travel programs…dime a dozen…taxes are too high and never included in package you are going to sell. Stay true to your ethics and pick a great product.

Now it is time to pick your mentor. This will be the single greatest factor in deciding if you will succeed. They should be using the newest technologies, have sales experience at the executive level with Corporate America and have mentors that are Multi-Millionaires. This will be your best chance for success.

Do you have any idea on how much money people are spending on advertisements promising to make you rich? It is in the millions of dollars. Most of these proclaimed gurus have a failure rate that would scare your hair straight. They promise you the world and riches. Then why such a large failure rate. Don’t get me wrong the product needs to be a good product, but your future mentor will determine your success or failure. ENOUGH of the Hype. The internet is full of people telling you, “We have a system that will do everything for you, you do not need to do anything.” ENOUGH of these lies. If you tie your future to these “Witch Doctors” then be ready for failure and then jump to the next big idea. Being successful requires effort, it requires learning, growing into a better person and it requires you to care for others that wish to succeed too. Run as far away from these “no work” opportunities as you can get. Grab an honest opportunity and put your passion to work.

How does their training system stack up? Is it evolving? Chances are…No! Is it a formal training system that requires participation? Chances are….No Does it teach the latest tactics and techniques to be successful? Chances are..No Is the training system multi-dynamic and give solid videos to show how? Chances are…No This is an area that you must investigate and be comfortable that they have a good training program to maximize you chances for success.

Are you happy with: Your current Work Schedule? Your current pay scale? Making others Rich? Your Retirement outlook? Go run it by a financial planner…Don’t be surprised Your children’s chances to become wealthy? The level of Health Care you will receive upon retirement? The pay cut you are taking due to high cost of fuel and food? Then find a top mentor and take action. Find a reason, “Your Why” and take action to change your current situation.

The wealthy understand that private education will set their children apart from the masses. They understand that this education is critical to their children’s success in the ever changing world. Let there be no doubt that each and every person on this planet was borne with greatness inside of them. Throughout life some people have completely abandoned this greatness and settled for mediocrity. You have greatness within but you need to feed it. It requires effort, action and passion. Put these 3 things together and watch out. Are you going to achieve greatness?

Most people are afraid of success so they make excuses on why they do not want to become better. This a natural human response. You must have a cause something that is bigger than you or your personal wants and desires. The easy one is that you have seen over the last 10 years the difference in incomes between the rich and the middle class has widen. How to break out of your rut: Develop a time budget. Where are you currently spending your time and where can you find additional time to commit to becoming financially free. Develop a monetary budget. Cut out all unnecessary spending and pay off debt. Find a mentor that will teach you how to earn more money. Get a financial planner to assist you in your planning and implementation. Move your income from income earned from being an employee to income earned from your business. Get an accountant to help you here for additional tax deductions. Help others achieve the same results.

The key to your success lies with the mentor you choose. Don’t let this scare you, but instead take action now to achieve financial freedom. Remember this is your choice and no one can do this for you.

The Choices You Make Now Will Affect Your Life, Your Children’s’ Life and Your Grand Children’s’ lives.
Let me share with a personal story. My daughter just finished her Junior year of school. Back in August she was involved in a car accident and injured her back. Not serious but injured all the same.
Over the next 6 months, her back continued to get worse and last Thursday we had to take her in for back surgery. Now if I still worked for Corporate America, the following would have added to an already stressful situation.

1. How do I take time off to insure my daughter gets the proper care?

2. I better check with my insurance to see what is covered and what is not?

3. Can I afford the best surgeon if he is out of network with my insurance?

4. What kind of physical therapy will she need and how is this covered?

5. What type of medications will she be on and will I need to get generics rather than branded?

6. Can she stay and extra day in the hospital if she needs to so she is not coming home too early?
You see many questions and concerns that the average person must deal with, but due to the choices I made, I did not give a thought to the above. I know I could afford any care that she needed and I could afford any supportive care that she needed.

Now ask yourself, how will you handle the above situation? The US is going to some sort of government controlled health care. This means that if you do not have cash, your health care will be less than you have today. This is a fact.

So should you decide to continue to rely on Corporate America and the Government to provide yours and your family’s health care, you assuring them of substandard care. This is fact.

Today in the mail I received a letter from one of my neighbors. I have never met them but we live in the same subdivision. This person was offering their services to our Neighborhood. They work in the Auto Industry.

The premise of the letter was to let us know that there are multiple ways to finance that new car or refinance your old car. They go on to say that they have multiple ways to restructure a car deal.

• Trade in your old one.
• Provide “creative” Financing
• Trade up to get a better lifestyle..Not sure the difference here from the first bullet
• Give you maximum tax benefits

At first look, I was taken aback that anyone would put this type of letter out to the public. I will never understand the thinking of this type of marketing.

Here is my thinking:

1. Why would anyone prey on other people to put them further in debt. There is only one reason in the world to buy and upgraded car and that is because your tax reduction strategy calls for you to do so. (not giving tax advice…consult your tax expert)
2. I learned along time ago that if I want to by a “liability” (exactly what autos are) then I would be looking to get a tax break along the way and looking for increased revenue to purchase it with cash. You see buying a car without having business reasons is not a sound wealth building principle.
3. Now there are a multiple number of ways to increase your income. The key is to find a good mentor that is vested in your success. Being vested in your success is the key. Most MLM or Network Marketing ideas are dead from the start. No one is vested in another person’s success. This is why the average failure rate is 95% to 97% in these business ventures.

I think about all the people across the world that are still trapped in the old mindset of getting a good job, working hard and then retiring. Nothing wrong with that if you want to be old upon retirement. I can tell you that I left a great job in Corporate America but it was still a job.

Now I make myself rich not the corporation. I spend more time with my family than I had ever been able to and living life on my terms. IT IS AWESOME.

The day I traded my hour commute for a 45 second commute (that is if I stop by the kitchen for coffee) was one of the best days of my life.

Your Greatness…..Why You Must Feed It Now!!!

I write this page knowing that some who read this will think I am crazy and I truly feel sorry for those who do not see greatness within themselves. You see we all come into this world the same…dumb, crying and naked. So why is it that some people rise to greatness and others do not. Most are saying that it is the environment in which we are brought up. To some extent this is true, but what about the less fortunate? What about the people who overcame poverty, crime, lack of education and / or other hardships?  Why did they achieve greatness.

I would say to you that it is because they made a decision to feed their GREATNESS! You see we all have it within us. Each and every person on this planet has the ability to be great, do great things and live a life that makes people say “the world is a better place because he or she was here”. Think about that, “The World is a Better Place Because He or She Was Here”. Now that is powerful. What will people say when you are gone? We can make a difference in this world, but it takes a conscience effort, a direction with action steps, passion to help others and a firm belief that you are capable of more.

Do you remember the dreams and ideas that once flourished in your head. We all had them, but for some they have seemed to die or go into a deep sleep. Why did they disappear? For most the answer is simple, life beat them out of us. We allowed ourselves to settle into environments that would not allow our greatness to grow. As a result our burning passion seemed to disappear. Do you want some good news? That passion, those dreams and that greatness can be brought back, but it will take a commitment from you to do so.

You will need to ask yourself, “Is it worth the effort to believe in my greatness again?” I say yes. Think about the alternative….to live life without enjoying seeing others benefit from your greatness..this is the real tragedy. You will if we let our greatness die, then this is the example we pass on to our children, our friends and our Family. Sometimes we have to be the first to ignite the spark. We must be the ones to take the initiative to grow our greatness. That is OK.

So how do you ignite your greatness and continue to see it grow? The best way is to become associated with others that have this same belief. Being around others becomes contagious. This works the same for negativity as it does for positivity. Here are some action steps to take immediately to begin to feed your Greatness.

1. Do not watch any more news for 90 days
2. Do not listen to news for 90 days
3. Do not read a news paper, magazine or news article on world affairs.
4. Go to your Library and ask them for a book on Positive Psychology or you can go to the a book store and buy some. What you are looking for are best selling authors or famous speakers that talk about living your life in a positive say Your mind controls all you do and what you will become. If you feed it negativity, you will be forever destined to suppress your greatness.
5. Look for organizations that help others in positive thinking.

Let me tell you a story about a very famous and very gifted entertainer and how his greatness was almost never discovered.

One night in a small bar filled with cigar smoke there sat a very talented piano player. He could play anything and was proud to do so. Well one night a group of executives came into the bar and spent a good deal of money on drinks and finger foods. The leader of this group approached the manager and asked the manager if the piano player would sing something for the group. It did not matter what the song, they just wanted to hear a song with the piano music. The manager approached the piano player and asked him to sing something for the group. The piano player said he could not as his voice was not good and it would be embarrassing. The manager went back to the group and apologized but said the piano player was not a singer but could play any song they wanted to hear and would knock their socks off. The leader of the group told the manager that they did not care how bad the piano player was, that they really wanted to hear a song. They continued to tell the manager that if they did not get a song they would leave and take their business tonight and future nights to another place. Upon hearing this the manger went back to the piano player and said, if you do not sing a song I have no choice but to fire you. So the piano player say there for a minute and then sang “Moon River”. Now up until this point the piano player only believed in his piano playing greatness but after singing that song. Nat King Cole was borne into a legend. Now Mr. Cole could have stayed in the little bar his entire life and been happy, but what about the millions that went on to enjoy his music. The world is filled with these stories.

First let me say that what I am about to tell you will cause me a ton of grief. I will get hate mail, threats and maybe worse for letting these unknown secrets out to the general public, but I think it is important for the anyone considering the Direct Sales Arena be armed with this knowledge. Let me also say that this information is based upon my research and experiences within the direct sales market. You see I spent a great deal of time investigating Direct Sales Opportunities. I also must say that I am biased as I have joined what I consider the best of the Direct Sales Companies in the World. I want to be upfront and let you know this as I am not trying to sell you on the company I joined, only trying to give you some criteria to evaluate all options within the direct sales markets. I believe the information contained in this report to be truthful, honest and I stand behind this report as I do all Green Beret Integrity (GB Integrity) products.

If you are reading this post, then I would like to congratulate you for investigating the Direct Sales Industry. It is one of the fastest growing markets in the world. If you really want Financial Freedom then Direct Sales is for you, but choose wisely. Here are some basic reasons why Direct Sales is rapidly expanding globally:

• Companies can bring products to market without paying the high costs of global distribution centers, country distribution centers, regional distribution centers or local distribution centers costs. These costs can be enormous. In addition bringing products to market, the companies can now have thousands of marketing channels and partners in selling their products.
• Sales associates can earn large incomes in relative short time frames by selling products and building teams. The low cost of start up to own your own business with a large income potential is very attractive to millions of people worldwide. When compared to the start up costs of a franchise, the employee head aches with owning a franchise, the percent of gross revenue paid back to the Corporation owning the franchise, direct sales is to most people a slam dunk decision. Millions of people worldwide are moving in this direction.
• Cost for distribution continue to out pace all other costs of a product. With the worldwide price of oil continuing to climb, this will continue to push new companies to bring their products to market through a form of direct sales.

Now how are you going to evaluate each direct sales opportunities. The goal of the following information is to make you smarter about evaluating Direct Sales opportunities.

• Let’s start with the biggest Trick in Direct Sales: You can make as much money as the top earners. You are told how much money people are making within the opportunity (fully legitimate). I think it is fair to say that almost all companies are very strict on this issue. What they are not telling you is how they are actually making this money. For example, when you join do you get the same setup as the people making the big money?
• Ask the Company Associate who contacted you with this opportunity the following questions:
  1. How long has your company been around? Most companies fail within the first 5 years of business. You do not want to join a company that may not be around in the near future.
  2. Do I get the same resources that the top earners use to generate their large amounts of money? This breaks down to: same websites, optin pages, sales pages, squeeze pages, blogs, banner ads…. if the answer is no you are not going to get the system that the top earners do then ask the following question below. If the answer is yes, ask them how much is that going to cost you. They have passed the first test and you have a good idea on how much it will cost to get your sales message created.
  3. How much will it cost me to develop an alike system? You see there are companies out there that have leaders with over 100 sales pages and optin pages that you will have to compete with. I know of one company that has a leader with over 300 optin pages. I recommend that you should run away as fast as possible if you do not have access to the same resources the top earners do. Otherwise the deck will be stacked against you.
  4. Questions around the products the company represents.
     a. How many products does your company have? The number of products a companies has must be more than 1 but not more than 5. If you only have 1 product then your market is going to be very narrow. If you have more than 5 products your marketing efforts will be too diluted
     b. Were your products created by your company and if so, where else are they sold? If the product is available other places then it could very easily turn into a price war. This is not good for you to build your wealth upon. Products need to be stand alone products and focused to change lives. You do not want to have to see copy cat products either.
     c. What is the sales commission per product? On the entry level products you want a minimum of $500 profit to you for each sales. The next products should have more profit for you. In addition, you should find out what type of residual profit you can make from existing customers. This is very important as you build your wealth machine.
     d. If a product revolves around one expert, you will need to find out what happens if that expert leaves the company especially if the expert is part owner of the company. If this is a new company, it could be bad for all.
     e. Who is the target audience? In the past I have seen companies try to sell products to people that were in dire straights and promising to turn their situation around. Be very careful when dealing with people as you are talking about their dreams and goals. The deserve straight answers.
     f. What are the other costs for the buyers of our products. A great example is the Direct Sales Companies that sell travel packages at a discount. The tax is not paid in the package and they must pay it. This expense can be considerable. In addition, there are blackout dates with some of the packages, this can open up some very angry customers even though they have been told of this prior to buying the package.
  5. Does your company recommend that I buy leads to get started? If they come back and say yes…..RUN AWAY…. Buying generic leads is dead. It is the lowest turn on your money you can get. My recommendation is that there are many better ways to develop a quality lead.
  6. Have them go over their marketing training with you. This is probably the most important part of the business. If they say that the system in place will do your marketing for you…..RUN AWAY…. Marketing is changing at light speed and like the old saying goes, “There is no such thing as GET RICH QUICK” forget it. You have to make a decision to take action and change your current life style.
  7. Find out what kind of access you have your mentors. How often do you have conference calls or Webexs for training? The answer on this needs to be weekly if not 2 times a week. Training is critical to get you up to speed and then have you sharing what you learned with the mastermind group.

I have covered one section of the hidden tricks of the Direct Sales World. Not all companies do the above but a few of the them give a bad name to the rest of the great companies. I wish you the best in your search for Financial Freedom. Remember it TAKES ACTION to change anything in life.

I believe that anyone can achieve their dreams if they will take action to change their current situation. There is NO such thing as luck or angel dust that makes successful people successful. It is hard work, dedication, continued education, love for your family and friends, a desire to be more than we currently are and the willingness to ask for help to get to where we want to go. I have had many challenges thrown at me since I graduated High School, but like others that wanted to succeed they were only temporary road blocks.

I graduated from a very small town in the Midwest. I had 31 students in my Senior class and I weighed a whopping 165 pounds. I was a pretty good Football and Basketball player in High School and decided to go try out for College Football at the Division II level because I loved the game. Even though most of the people around me laughed and said I was not good enough. So I showed up to play college football only I was 25 pounds lighter than the lightest Defensive Back. Not a good situation, but after hard work and dedication I was able to start my senior year as we went for the National Championship. I could have stopped many times but my goals would not allow this. Next I joined the Army as an Officer but that was too easy. So I volunteered for Airborne School (jumping out of perfectly good airplanes) but even that was too easy. So I volunteered for the US Army Ranger School (78 days of 1 meal per day and a maximum of 4 hours sleep per night) which was brutal (we started the course with over 380 ranger candidates and finished about half) but this was too easy now too. So I decided to volunteer for US Army Special Forces Selection Course (Green Berets), then onto Green Beret Qualification Course, Thia Language School, Counter Terrorism School and lastly US Army Jump Master School. I do not list these schools to brag but instead to show that achieving great things is done in little steps and once you MASTER these principles you will be on your road to achieving more than you ever thought possible, but it takes action and a mentor to show you the way. There will be times that you will want to quit and this is where the mentor will step in to convince you to forward.

So I spent almost 12 years in the US Army and one day I something hit me. I absolutely loved what I was doing as a Green Beret but my family was being neglected. I spent so much time deployed that I did not even know my daughter and she certainly did not know her dad. So left the Army and joined a Fortune 50 company. Once of the most admired companies in the world. Life was good and promotions came quick. I quickly found myself as a Corporate Executive working 85 to 100 hours per week, but something was missing. After working in Corporate America for about 12 years, I could see that I was making them a lot of money…no I mean a lot of money. So I again stepped back and had to ask myself why am I working so hard to make others rich. It was not until left the Corporate World that I notices how much stress I had been under and how much the long hours were affecting my family.

That is where life started to be a blast for me. I now live life flat out. I now work closely with Millionaires in all aspects of my life. I live life on my terms. I work with people that I like and want to work with, yes I get to choose who I decide to work with. My family and I are enjoying our time together. Life is great. The lesson that I would like you to take from this blog is that anything in life is achievable if you have a large dream, a plan, a mentor and an action orientated mind. Don’t let others steal the life you deserve away from you. Don’t listen to them. Unfortunately our friends do not want to lose us and most do not want to change so they try to keep us where we are. You must find a mentor immediately and begin your journey. Don’t your children deserve it?

OK….After much thought and persuasion, I have decided to break my silence and wade into the most important topic facing America today!! That topic is your Financial Freedom. Think about this:

1. The American Dollar which once led the world currencies is at is lowest level in years with no end in sight. Each time the dollar falls your income falls too. This should make you mad as heck. We can thank our politicians for this one (but that is another discussion)
2. Energy prices are continuing to SOAR with no end in sight.. This means that you will have less income in the future to spend unless you take action immediately.
3. As you get older your health care costs will rise (fact of live unless God forbid you die). More retirement accounts have been completely drained from health care costs than any other culprit. I have a great friend that just retired from Corporate America to enjoy his life with his beautiful wife. 6 months after retirement he was diagnosed with cancer. Fortunately he is winning the war against his cancer. Unfortunately the cost of the first 4 months was over $ 400,000 with an expected $ 600,000 left for treatments. The good news is he is beating the cancer. Let’s think about this, my friend worked very hard in Corporate America for over 40 years and gave them the best years of his life and now has to face cancer when he should be living the great life. Will you too work until the age of 55 or 65 and then plan on enjoying your life….not me.. I will enjoy my family, my friends, my Daughter and my hobbies now not when I am 55. How good is your health insurance? You better look at the small print.
4. Why do you live in the house you do?; Why do you get the health care coverage you do?; Why do you drive the car you do?; Why do your children go to the schools they go to?; Why do you allow your employer to pay you only 10% of what you are worth?; Why do you believe that you do not deserve a better life?. The answer is simple. You have not taken the action to break this cycle.

Do yourself a favor and take action today…You deserve better so take action and make a commitment to LIVE LIFE FLAT OUT.
